Boycott of digital presence on the first day in Jaunpur

Jaunpur, 08 July (HS). The order of Basic Education Council for digital attendance of teachers from Monday remained ineffective in Jaunpur district. Under the leadership of UP Primary Teachers Association President Amit Singh, teachers completely boycotted digital attendance on the first day.

President of UP Primary Teachers Association, Amit Singh said that the Primary Teachers Association is opposing the digital attendance which started from July 8. At the same time, it is also boycotting digital attendance with full strength. Under the leadership of all the block presidents and ministers, teachers of all blocks have shown unprecedented unity and protested by tying black bands in their respective schools.
He said that digital attendance will not be accepted until the basic problems of teachers like 30 EL, half CL, holiday on second Saturday of the week are not resolved.

He further said that the pending demands of council teachers, salary discrepancy, health insurance, restoration of old pension and other essential issues should be fulfilled. In this regard, a demand letter of our demands will be submitted in the name of the Chief Minister by meeting the District Magistrate in the Collectorate premises on July 11.
