Spending on children's education is extremely useful in making the country's future bright: Yogi

Gorakhpur, 06 July (HS). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that any contribution made in the field of education does not go waste. The expenditure made on the education of children is extremely useful in making the future of the society and the country bright because education is the foundation of the all-round development of the individual, society and the country. With this objective, many innovative works are being done to provide opportunities for progress to the youth of UP. The government is working with full honesty and commitment for the bright future of the present and future generations.

CM Yogi was addressing the function organized here after inaugurating the Jaiprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya in Siswa Anantpur of Sahajanwa on Saturday. The Chief Minister said that today the first Jaiprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya (Ashram method) is being inaugurated in Gorakhpur. Two schools of Ashram method are already running in this district for boys. The Social Welfare Department has also rapidly advanced the process of Sarvodaya schools for girls. He said that for the better education of girls, the government is also upgrading Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas up to 12th class in every block.

Sarvodaya and Eklavya schools are being built on a large scale

The Chief Minister said that today Ashram system schools are being built on a large scale in the state. The Social Welfare Department is also building Eklavya schools on the same lines in tribal areas. The government has decided that CM Composite Schools and Abhyudaya Schools will also be built rapidly in every district. He said that Atal Residential Schools have been opened in every division under the free residential arrangement for the children of construction workers and destitute children, where all arrangements have been made for the education of children up to 12th standard.

Abhyudaya coaching facility after studying up to 12th

CM Yogi said that Abhyudaya coaching centers have also been opened for children to prepare for medical, engineering, UPSC, army, bank PO etc. after studying up to 12th. Here, along with the best faculty, people who have become officers by passing competitive exams also guide the children. Abhyudaya coaching facility is being made available both physically and virtually.

Connect girls with sports and skill development along with studies

The Chief Minister said that the girls who have come to Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya from different places have come through competition. They have passion and eagerness to move ahead. These girls will not only make their careers but will also bring glory to the state and the country. The CM appealed to the Principal and Superintendent of the school to organize the studies and daily routine of the girls and also connect them with skill development, sports and social awareness activities. If a girl has some special talent, then provide her a proper platform. He praised the school campus, its auditorium and the available facilities and said that this school is an important opportunity for the girls of Purvanchal.

On the occasion of the inauguration of Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya, Minister of State for Social Welfare (Independent Charge) Asim Arun said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is always striving to give strength to the next generation. Many programs are being run under his guidance to make the future of daughters bright. He said that the facility of Abhyudaya coaching is also being provided in the Sarvodaya schools of the Ashram system. The Social Welfare Minister said that five more Sarvodaya schools are being started this year and seven such schools will be started next year. He said that in the coming few years, the Social Welfare Department will start 125 schools including Sarvodaya and Eklavya schools.

The welcome address was given by Sahjanwa MLA Pradeep Shukla. On this occasion, the Chief Minister and other guests on the stage were welcomed by the girls. Minister of State for Social Welfare Sanjeev Gaur, MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh, Shriram Chauhan, Rajesh Tripathi, Principal Secretary of Social Welfare Department Dr. Hariom, BJP District President Yudhishthir Singh, Madan Murari Gupta, Rampal Singh, Narendra Shukla, Pramod Rai etc. were also present in the program.

On the occasion of the inauguration of Jaiprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went to a class and had a cordial conversation with the newly admitted girls. The Chief Minister motivated them to study hard and blessed them for a bright future. After meeting the CM, the happiness of these girls knew no bounds.

Sarvodaya Residential Girls School is built with 35 crores

The construction of Jaiprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya, run by the Social Welfare Department, has cost Rs 35.33 crore. This year 210 girls have been admitted here. Along with excellent education in Jaiprakash Narayan Sarvodaya schools, the state government makes arrangements for free hostel, textbooks, uniforms and sports etc. In these schools, 60 percent students are from Scheduled Caste-Tribe, 25 percent from Other Backward Classes and 15 percent from General Category. Out of the total entrants, 85 percent students are from rural areas.

It is noteworthy that the Government Ashram System Schools run by the Social Welfare Department are now known as Jaiprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. Such schools are already operating in Gaunar Vishunpur of Chauri Chaura in Gorakhpur and Patra of Gola. Under the guidance of CM Yogi, Jaiprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Girls School has been constructed in Siswa Anantpur of Sahajanwa to provide free education to girls along with residential facilities.
