Varanasi, 06 July (HS). BJP's national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi remembered Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his birth anniversary. He said that Dr Mukherjee devoted his entire life to strengthen the nationalist ideology. It was Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee who opposed the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and the permit system to go there. Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi was addressing the seminar organized by the BJP Metropolitan and District Unit on the birth anniversary of Jan Sangh founder Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on Saturday evening. In the Gandhi Study Peeth Auditorium at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the BJP took Mukherjee's fight forward. The central government under the leadership of the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi established the slogan of one flag, one constitution and one leader by abolishing Article 370 on 5 August 2019.
He said that sometimes there are some turning points in the history of the country where that change changes the history in a decisive manner. For example, when we got independence, the issue of Kashmir was such that after independence all the princely states were merged but only one princely state remained. The responsibility of merging the princely states was with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Only one princely state was with Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and a problem arose in that. It became a big challenge which remained till 2019. A decisive solution was found during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that the then Prime Minister of Kashmir and Justice Meher Chandra Mahajan has written in his book Looking Back that Kashmir had become a big challenge for India. Pandit Nehru did all this for Sheikh Abdullah. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was very sad to see all this. Dr. Trivedi said that even today questions are unresolved on the death of Dr. Mukherjee. Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi said that PM Modi has said that the next 25 years are Amrit Kaal. The past 10 years are Usha Kaal. This is the construction period of developed India. Those who used to ask for proof of Ram are today counting the defeat of BJP by telling the places of Ram. The seminar was chaired by Prof. Kripa Shankar Jaiswal.
