Good news for students! Scholarship portal will start from July 10, know details here

Scholarships are very important for students studying in universities and colleges. Scholarships are the only support for poor students coming from rural areas. But, many times students are not able to get scholarships due to some technical reasons. Yesterday, a student of Bundelkhand University committed suicide due to not getting scholarship. Investigation has revealed that the student did not get the money due to some technical reasons.

The state government is going to open the scholarship portal once again. The portal will start from July 10. Before this, students should check and correct all their documents. Deputy Director of OBC Welfare Department RD Yadav told us what things students should keep in mind while filling the form. The portal will open from July 10 for general and SC, ST students. The schedule for backward class students will be released soon.

Keep all documents ready

RD Yadav said that students should not wait for the last date to fill the scholarship form. Prepare all your documents and also get them verified. Submit all the documents on time and keep checking the updates on the portal regularly. If there is any error at the college or university level, get it corrected. Also ensure that the document has been forwarded from your college or university on time.

Do these things

RD Yadav said that students should take care that they do not open multiple bank accounts for scholarship. Operate only one account and apply from that only. Make sure to get Aadhaar seeding of the bank account done. Along with this, upload your bank account information on National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). Keep in mind that the bank account linked to Aadhaar seeding should be uploaded on NPCI.
