Case filed against four people including a youth for raping and kidnapping a minor

Moradabad, 05 July (HS). A woman living in a village in the Mundhapande police station area told the police in a complaint on Friday that a youth living in the area has committed a heinous act with her minor daughter. The complainant also alleged that after the incident, the accused lured her daughter and took her away with him. The police have started investigation by registering a case against the accused and his three maternal uncles on Friday on charges of rape, kidnapping and threat.

In the complaint given to the police, the mother of the minor victim told that Moazzam Ali, a resident of village Thikri of police station Bhojpur, lives in his maternal grandmother's house near her house. The accused used to harass her daughter every day. Moazzam Ali raped the minor daughter by giving intoxicants to her and her family members several times. Not only this, in the early hours of June 30, the accused lured the minor girl and took her away with him. On complaining, the accused's maternal uncle threatened to kill the girl's brother along with his family.

Station House Officer RP Sharma said that based on the complaint, a case has been filed against the accused and his three maternal uncles Badlu, Idul Hasan and Karamat for rape, kidnapping, threatening and under the POCSO Act.
