Ghaziabad, 05 July (HS). SDM Sadar Arun Dixit reached Lal Quarter and handed over a cheque of financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the family members of the woman who died in the Hathras accident.
On the instructions of District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh, SDM Sadar Arun Dixit presented a cheque of Rs 2 lakh provided from the Chief Minister's discretionary fund to deceased Vimlesh's husband Surendra. During this, the Deputy District Magistrate expressed condolences and consoled her family.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced to give Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the devotees who died in the accident and Rs 50,000 each to the injured.
