Lucknow, 04 July (HS). UP Congress party's state president Ajay Rai held a press conference in Lucknow on Thursday and lashed out at the BJP. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had the Akshayvat tree felled while constructing the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. More than 150 small and big temples were demolished in the name of the corridor.

Attacking the BJP, Ajay Rai said that all the incidents that happened three years ago show that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which calls itself the contractor of Hinduism, is the biggest enemy of Hinduism. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to destroy the culture and tradition of Kashi. Narendra Modi has removed the ancient temples of Kashi in one go.

While talking to journalists, the state president of Congress expressed grief over the heart-wrenching incident in Hathras and said that it is the failure of the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh that 122 people lost their lives in the stampede during the satsang. People died due to lack of ambulance and health services on the spot.

Targeting the Yogi Adityanath government, he said that after such a big incident in Uttar Pradesh, the name of the Baba who conducted the satsang is out of the FIR. The Yogi Adityanath government is dedicated to the Baba conducting the satsang, so no action is being taken against the accused Baba.
