Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak

Hathras, 03 July (HS). Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak reached the district hospital on Wednesday evening to know the condition of the victim. He enquired about the well-being of the victim and her family and prayed to God for her speedy recovery.

The Deputy Chief Minister held a meeting with the senior officials and doctors of the Health Department regarding the unfortunate accident that occurred in the village of Ratibhaanpur in Sikandrarao area in Hathras and gave strict instructions to provide high quality health facilities to the injured patients and monitor their health 24 hours a day. MP Anoop Valmiki, Additional Director Health, CMO, CMS and other officials and public representatives were present on this occasion.

The Deputy Chief Minister told the journalists that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is keeping an eye on the Hathras stampede incident. Earlier, he reached here and enquired about the well-being of the victims. Orders for a judicial inquiry have been given. The report of the inquiry will be received soon. Strict action will be taken against those responsible for this.

Our priority is to ensure that such incidents do not happen again. No one will be spared, strict action will be taken against the accused

He said that the injured are out of danger and the best possible treatment is being provided to them. 20 injured are admitted in different hospitals. Post-mortems of all the deceased have been done. Arrangements have been made to send their bodies home. The government is with the victim families.
