Moradabad, 03 July (HS). Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) New Delhi is starting four new special courses from the current session at the IGNOU study center located in Hindu College, Moradabad campus. These courses are MBA (Agribusiness), MBA (Construction), MBA (Logistics and Supply Chain) and MBA (Hospital and Healthcare Management). MBA courses in these four specialization areas are going to start for the first time in Moradabad. Admissions in these courses will start from this session.
This information was shared on Wednesday by Dr. Amit Chaturvedi, Senior Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Center Noida and Prof. AK Singh, Coordinator of IGNOU Study Center Hindu College Moradabad. Dr. Amit Chaturvedi said that Moradabad is an industrial city. That is why IGNOU has started these courses in Moradabad in view of the increasing needs of the industries. Apart from this, MBA course in the field of healthcare and hospital management was a much awaited demand, which IGNOU has decided to start.
Prof. AK Singh said that IGNOU study centre is moving on the path of continuous development. The number of students is also increasing. The centre is continuously starting multi-purpose employment oriented courses for students. In this series, MA Jyotish, MA Bhagwadgita, MA Applied Urdu, MA Psychology and MA Hindi courses are also being started. Apart from this, the centre coordinator also said that along with MBA in Human Resource, Banking and Finance, BBA, MCA, MSW, BLib, MLib, MA Journalism, MA Education, general and honours courses of BA, BSc, BCom are also available at the centre.
Prof. AK Singh finally informed that the last date for online admission for the current session by IGNOU has been extended from 30 June to 15 July 2024. Interested candidates can take online admission by registering on the Samarth portal on IGNOU's official website www.ignou.ac.in.
