The District Magistrate inspected the safe place, special adoption institute and children's home

Saharsa, 02 July (H.S.). The District Inspection Committee under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate on Tuesday inspected the three homes of the district operated by the Social Welfare Department – Safe Place, Special Adoption Institute and Children's Home.

During the inspection, the District Officer took information from the children and the concerned people about all the facilities being provided to the children, such as education, health, food, etc. During the inspection, it was found that there was a lack of maintenance of CCTV cameras, lack of maintenance of chimneys and lack of benches and desks etc. The District Officer directed the concerned people to rectify all the deficiencies as soon as possible.

In-charge Civil Surgeon, Deputy SP, Assistant Director Child Protection, District Program Officer Establishment Education, Chairman, Child Welfare Committee and others were present during the inspection.
