Israel releases 55 Gaza prisoners, many tortured prisoners released

It has been more than eight months since the war between Gaza and Israel. The war that started on October 7 last year has caused heavy losses to both sides so far. Israel is constantly retaliating against Gaza. At the same time, Israel has taken each other's citizens hostage. Now new information has emerged that Israel has released 55 Palestinian prisoners. Israel has released 55 Palestinians held hostage in Gaza. The director of Ghazni Al-Shifa was also included.

The director of the hospital was also released

Mohammed Abu Selmiya, director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, was detained by Israel in November when Israel raided Al-Shifa Hospital. Giving reasons for the raid on the hospital, the Israeli military said that they suspected Hamas was using the hospital and that Hamas was building tunnels in the hospital. However, Abu Selmiya and other hospital staff denied these allegations.

Israel also raided Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza. A Nasser Hospital official said Abu Selmiya was one of 55 Palestinian prisoners released from Gaza on Monday. Only five of the 55 hostages were taken to Nasser Hospital, the rest were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

Israel raids hospital

Israel has raided hospitals in Gaza, saying that Hamas and other terrorist groups take refuge in hospitals and that Hamas uses hospitals for military purposes. While Israeli allegations are being countered, Palestinian health officials say Israeli raids have forced many hospitals to close and reduce services, leaving civilians unable to receive treatment.
