71 percent candidates appeared in MUVI's B.Ed entrance exam

Prayagraj, June 29 (HS). The entrance examination for B.Ed and B.Ed Special Education of the session 2024-25 of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University was conducted peacefully on Saturday at 13 examination centers in 10 districts of the state. 71 percent of the candidates were present in it.

Coordinator of the Entrance Examination Organizing and Conducting Committee, Professor PK Stalin said that 71 percent of the candidates appeared in the B.Ed and B.Ed Special Education entrance examination. 4043 candidates had applied for the B.Ed entrance examination, out of which 1182 were absent. Whereas 2000 candidates from all over the country had applied for B.Ed Special Education, out of which 569 candidates were absent.

The entrance exam was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. On the instructions of Vice Chancellor Professor Satyakam, supervisors and core committee were deployed at all the centers. Under their supervision, the exam was conducted with transparency at all the centers.

Professor Stalin said that the entrance examination was conducted in Agra, Ayodhya, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi and Prayagraj in the state. He said that the exam results will be declared soon.
