A camp was set up to provide basic amenities to the displaced people of Akbar Nagar

Lucknow, June 29 (HS). The displaced people of Akbar Nagar, who were displaced in the drive to clear the land of Kukrail river in Lucknow, have been given Pradhan Mantri Awas by LDA in Sector I of Basant Kunj Yojana. LDA has set up a camp there as the displaced people are still not getting basic facilities like electricity, water, sanitation etc.

Under the guidance of LDA's Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma, a two-day camp was organized in the Prime Minister's Housing Area of ​​Basant Kunj Yojana. Displaced people of Akbar Nagar started arriving at the camp from Saturday morning itself. The displaced people told their problems to the camp staff and requested them to solve them. On which the LDA employees started taking action immediately.

Earlier, LDA Vice President Dr. Indramani Tripathi inspected the Prime Minister's Housing Area. Dr. Indramani Tripathi seemed unhappy with the cleanliness system of the Prime Minister's Housing. He directed the Municipal Corporation contractor and employees to get the area cleaned within a week.

LDA Vice President said on the spot that the camp is being organized to benefit the displaced people of Akbar Nagar. Information is being given in the camp for employment, jobs or small business. Arrangements are also being made to give loans for doing business. Apart from LDA, employees of Udyog Kendra, DUDA, Labor Department, Electricity Distribution and Education Department are also present in the camp. They are giving information to the people about their needs.
