Moradabad, June 27 (HS). Bhudev Sharma, a resident of Naya Moradabad in the Majhola police station area of the district, in a complaint to the police station, accused a person living in Buddhi Vihar of the police station area of cheating him of Rs 12 lakh in the name of getting a plot. It is also alleged that when he asked for his money back after not getting the plot, the accused threatened to implicate him in a false case. On Thursday, the police station registered a case against the accused in the matter.
Victim Bhudev Sharma told in the case registered in Majhola police station that he knew Pushpendra Singh, resident of Buddhi Vihar. Pushpendra had promised to get a plot for Bhudev. For this, Bhudev had also taken 12 lakh rupees. But when the victim did not get the plot even after the stipulated time, he asked for his money back. After this, the accused started making excuses. On demanding the money several times, the accused threatened to send him to jail in a false case.
Civil Lines jurisdiction officer Arpit Kapoor said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused today.
