Prayagraj, June 27 (HS). The investigation into the irregularities in the NEET exam has reached Prayagraj. Bihar police conducted raids today in search of a doctor from Naini and his son. But both could not be caught. The police returned after interrogating the staff.
The police of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar raided the Akshayvat hospital in Naini on Wednesday in search of Dr RP Pandey and his son Rishabh, who were accused of making a solver sit in their place in the NEET exam. Enquiries were made about the owner of the hospital and his son. The police returned after questioning the staff. The raid created a stir in the hospital. Rishabh's examination centre was made in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. During the investigation after the paper leak, it was found that Dr RP Pandey had made a solver sit in the exam in place of his son Rishabh.
On receiving the information about the raid, the father and son fled. The police stayed in the hospital for about half an hour and returned after questioning the staff. It is said that Dr. Pandey also has a hospital in Pachdevra. The police had reached there as well. But they returned today after not finding the accused.
