Mirzapur, June 27 (HS). Farmer registry has been implemented by the government. A campaign will be run in two phases from July 1 in the district to include the names of farmers in the Farmer Registry. For this, camps will be organized in all revenue villages. Farmers can get the Farmer Registry done by taking Aadhaar, mobile number and all Khatauni. It will also be linked to the portal of agriculture and other related departments. A unique ID of farmers will be created from Farmer Registry. Farmers will not have to visit the tehsil etc. for any verification.
Deputy Agriculture Director Vikesh Patel said that Farmer Registry will be prepared under Agristack (Digital Public Infrastructure for Agriculture). Details of farmers will be compiled in digital infrastructure. The Central Government will consolidate the Bhulekh database and prepare online buckets of farmers with the same name and father's name in each revenue village and make the revenue available online. Using this, Farmer Registry will be prepared at the state level.
All landholder farmers of the district will be linked to the Farmer Registry. The farmer's name, father's name, all the land ownership numbers, farmer's share in the land in case of co-ownership, mobile number, Aadhaar number, eKYC details will be recorded in the Farmer Registry. In case of any kind of ownership transfer (inheritance, sale deed), the Farm Registry will be automatically updated.
Starting from July 1, the campaign will run in two phases
Deputy Agriculture Director said that the Farmer Registry Campaign will be launched from July 1. The first phase will be from July 1 to July 31. In this, an intensive campaign will be run with the help of employees of Agriculture, Revenue, Employment and Panchayat Department. In the second phase, it will be opened for farmers from August 1. In this, the remaining farmers will be able to get the Farmer Registry done through the Farmer Registry Mobile App themselves or through Jan Suvidha Kendra.
Farmers should join the Farmer Registry by 30 September
Database of farmers (Farmer Registry) will be implemented. To prepare Farmer Registry in this, Government of India will consolidate the database of land records of Revenue Department and by consolidating all the farmers with same name and father's name of each revenue village, an online bucket will be prepared and made available online to the state. Mobile app developed by the government is being used. By including all the groups of farmers, they will be linked with Aadhar. Farmers, especially the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, must get Farmer Registry done before 30th September.
