Ekadashi Tithi has special significance in Hinduism. Every month there are two Ekadashis, one in Krishna Paksha and the other in Shukla Paksha. While Ekadashi fast is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It brings prosperity in life.
According to the English calendar, there is one month in a year in which Pradosh fast is observed thrice and Ekadashi fast is observed thrice. This situation mostly occurs in months with 31 days. According to the Hindi calendar, there are only two Pradosh and two Ekadashi fasts in every month. Thus, a total of 24 Pradosh and 24 Ekadashi fasts are observed in a year.
In Adhik Maas, the number of Pradosh and Ekadashi fasts increases from 24 to 26. Now three Ekadashis are coming in the next July. When three Pradosh fasts will come in August.

Ekadashi is the day of worship of Lakshmi, Vishnu and Pradosh is the day of worship of Lord Shiva. This year

- Devshayani Ekadashi on 17th July

Out of which the first two Ekadashi will be in the Hindi month of Ashadh and the last in the month of Shravan. Similarly, in the last year 2023, Pradosh was on 1st July, 15th July and 30th July. This year Pradosh will fall on 1st August, 17th August and 31st August.
