Kanpur, 25 June (HS). Two bridge projects near Kalyanpur-Panki Dham were constructed ahead of schedule. They were opened to the public on Tuesday as a trial. However, the finishing work of both the bridges is also being done at a fast pace. This information was given by District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh.
He informed that the construction work of the rail overbridge at Kalyanpur-Panki Mandir Panki Power House Railway Crossing in Kanpur district was done ahead of schedule at a cost of Rs 28.71 crore. However, the target of August 2024 was set to complete it. Which has now been started and the common man will now get relief from the daily traffic jams. It is being used as a trial and the work of finishing etc. on the overbridge is being done on a war footing. Similarly, the construction of Panki Mandir to Panki Road Overbridge was done on a war footing.
The cost of this project is 36.87 crores. The target is to complete the Panki Dham Mandir Rail Overbridge in June 2024, finishing work is underway. It has been opened for smooth traffic of the general public.
