Elon Musk, one of the richest men in the world, has become the father of his 12th child this year. Along with this, he has also talked about the reports which said that efforts were made to hide this information. He said on the social media site that his friends and family members know about it.
Musk confirmed to Page Six that the baby's birth was not kept a secret from friends and family. Musk stressed that although the birth was not publicly announced, those close to him were aware of it.
The newborn's mother is Shivon Zilis, director of special projects at Musk's brain-implant company Neuralink. The Tesla founder has not yet announced the name and gender of his baby, who has been kept out of the spotlight so far.
Musk shares twins Strider and Azure with Zilis. This is not the first time that Musk's child birth has been kept a secret. However, he is publicly believed to be the father of 11 children. But he has not officially revealed the total number of his children.
Elon Musk previously welcomed twins Stryder and Azor with Zilis in November 2021. Shortly after, he and alt-pop singer Grimes gave birth to Axa Dark Sideral via surrogate. Axa, also known as Y, was revealed in a Vanity Fair article when the baby started crying during Grimes' interview with the magazine. Currently, Grimes, 36, and Elon Musk are in a legal dispute over the custody of their three children. Elon Musk has been seen in public with his 4-year-old son, having been spotted together at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas in February, at the Tesla plant in Germany in March, and most recently earlier this month in France at the Cannes Lions Festival. Elon Musk is also a father to twins Griffin and Vivian with his ex-wife Justine Musk, as well as three children Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
