Ayodhya, June 24 (HS). Mayor of Nagar Nigam Ayodhya Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, along with Nagar Aayukt Santosh Kumar Sharma, local councilor and other officials, inspected the places in the city where waterlogging had occurred after the rain. Officers were directed to solve the problem of waterlogging soon. After the rain on Sunday, complaints of waterlogging were received at 28 places in the city. To solve this, the Nagar Nigam had deployed officers along with 9 Nala Gangs of 90 employees, 7 JCBs and 7 suction machines.

On Monday, the mayor inspected Ram ki Paadi in Laxman Kund ward, Gangwal temple, Ram Ghat crossing in Ashok Singhal ward, Tulsi Bari, near the railway station in Hanuman Kund ward. He held a meeting with railway officials to deal with the problem of waterlogging near the railway station.

Mayor Mahant Girish Pati Tripathi said that waterlogging is being removed continuously by forming teams of municipal corporation employees. The drains are being cleaned regularly so that waterlogging does not occur due to rain water. He said that there are many new colonies and some rural areas where drainage problems have arisen due to the structure. There are some drain problems related to Rampath. For the solution of which, brainstorming is being done to make the metropolis completely free from waterlogging by making a work plan in a planned manner. On Monday, the waterlogging wards were inspected. The problem of waterlogging in the wards will be resolved in a planned manner.

During the inspection, Additional Municipal Commissioner Anil Singh, Executive Engineer, Junior Engineer Councilor Vinay Jaiswal, Anuj Das, Abhay Srivastava, Ankit Tripathi, Lurlur Yadav, Rishu Pandey along with Municipal Corporation officials and employees were present.
