Floods have wreaked havoc in China. Rainfall is currently being witnessed in eastern and southeastern China. People are being evacuated through drones in many places. Especially in Fujian province of eastern China, people are suffering from floods. Drones have been deployed to deal with the emergency situation in the flood-affected village.
How will the drone work?
The drones that have been deployed are 100 kg lifting drones. Starting from a temporary landing point, the drone covered a distance of 3 km to reach the affected village and arrived at the drop off point after 4 minutes. This technology is being used for relief operations after several provinces in China faced heavy rains and rising river levels. Heavy rains and floods have wreaked havoc in southeast China.
Flooding in many cities
Rivers are overflowing, roads are submerged. Due to continuous rain, the level of Zhejiang river in southern China has increased. This caused flooding in Wuzhou city of Guangxi.
