Ramit Sharma, who became the first commissioner of Prayagraj after the implementation of the police commissionerate system, has been sent to the post of ADG Bareilly. IPS officer Rajesh Mishra has been posted as Superintendent of Police Kumbh Mela. During Ramit Sharma's tenure, apart from the Umesh Pal murder case and the murder of mafia Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf, many shooters of his gang were encountered. Also, action was taken to run bulldozers on their houses.
