Congress submits memorandum demanding cancellation of NEET UG exam

Varanasi, June 21 (HS). Politics is also boiling over the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) exam, which is conducted for admission to medical colleges. On Friday, Samajwadi Party workers staged a fierce protest and tried to burn the effigy of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. At the same time, Congress workers handed over a memorandum of demands addressed to the President to SDM Varanasi.

Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha workers protested fiercely at the district headquarters under the leadership of District President Rahul Sonkar and National Secretary Raju Yadav. During this, the workers tried to burn the effigy of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. But the police officers present there snatched the effigy from the workers after a lot of effort. During this, the workers also got into a scuffle with the police personnel. After the protest, the workers handed over a memorandum of their demands to ACM IV after raising slogans under the DM portico.

District President of Chhatra Sabha Rahul Sonkar said that competitive exam papers are being leaked continuously in Uttar Pradesh. Fraud has also been reported in NEET UG exam. In a memorandum addressed to the President, Chhatra Sabha has demanded the removal of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from his post and arrest and send to jail those involved in leaking the exams, cancel the result of NEET exam and stop playing with the future of students.

Among the leaders who submitted the Congress memorandum were District and Metropolitan Committee President Rajeshwar Singh Patel, senior Congress leader Satish Choubey, Anil Shrivastava, Shailendra Singh, District Vice President Dr. Jitendra Seth, Sanjeev Singh, Sitaram Kesari, Fasahat Hussain Babu, etc.
