What is IRGC?
The IRGC is Iran's exclusive military, political and economic force, directly linked to Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei. According to an estimate, the IRGC has about 190,000 active troops and has its own ground forces, navy and air force separate from the Iranian army. According to Iran's opponents, the IRGC provides money, weapons, technology, training and advice to its representatives abroad. The IRGC is believed to be conducting its operations not only in the Middle East but also in many countries around the world.
