Prayagraj, June 18 (HS). Often, unnecessary people enter reserved coaches while travelling by railways, causing inconvenience to people. For this, on the instructions of Divisional Railway Manager Himanshu Badoni, supervisors and inspectors will be deployed and an intensive checking campaign will be conducted.
Giving this information, Public Relations Officer Amit Kumar Singh said that under the direction of the Divisional Railway Manager, efforts are being made to manage the crowd in various trains running in the division during summers, so that passengers do not face any inconvenience. Commercial inspectors and supervisors will conduct a campaign to conduct intensive inspections of reserved category coaches in trains from 14 to 28 June.
He informed that commercial inspectors, supervisors and officers have been deployed at major stations to manage the crowd and prevent overcharging. Under this campaign, 363 trains were checked from 14 to 17 June and 740 irregular passengers were deboarded. 794 passengers on the waiting list were sent from reserved coaches to unreserved coaches and 376 passengers without tickets were caught.
