An Indian-origin woman was killed and another was seriously injured in a shooting incident in the US state of New Jersey. Giving information about the incident, officials said that the shooting was allegedly carried out by a 19-year-old youth of Indian origin. The county prosecutor said in a press release that the shooting took place on June 12 in northeastern Middlesex County of New Jersey.
The women were taken to hospital
Responding to a call of gunfire, officers rushed two women who were shot and were in critical condition to a hospital. Jasveer Kaur, 29, of Carteret was pronounced dead at a hospital, while the other victim, a 20-year-old woman, is in critical condition, officials said.
