Hardoi, June 17 (HS). District Magistrate Mangala Prasad Singh on Monday told all SDMs and Tehsildars that financial help should be provided to the victims by taking timely reports from the regional lekhpal, revenue inspector and deputy Tehsildar on cases of natural calamity.
Natural disaster cases were found pending in Tehsil Shahabad and Bilgram. On this, the District Magistrate has sought a reply from Shahabad SDM Poonam Bhaskar and Bilgram SDM Garima Singh. At the same time, Bilgram Tehsildar Amit Yadav has also been given an adverse entry for the delay in a case of natural disaster in Mallawan.
Notice has been issued to SDM of Tehsil Shahabad and Bilgram for negligence in other priority works including natural calamity. DM expressed displeasure over not disposing of files and works in a timely manner and has sought an explanation.
