Lucknow, June 16 (HS). Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow Police has taken major action against Samajwadi Party leader and Mulayam Singh Yadav Youth Brigade state president Anees Raja alias Anees Ahmed. Alambagh Police has taken action under the Goonda Act in view of his criminal activities and acts.
In this regard, in the notice issued by the Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) Crime, various cases registered earlier against the accused Anees have been cited. In the notice issued by the police, he said that the accused Anees Raja is a resident of Gadhi Kanaura of Alambagh police station area and he is involved in various crimes like assault, intimidation and obstruction in government work. Due to his criminal nature, the general public is afraid of Anees and no one even complains against him in the police station. Criminal cases are registered against Anees in various police stations including Alambagh, Hazratganj, Bazarkhaala. On the basis of these cases, the police has taken action against Anees Raja under the Goonda Act.
