Bhagalpur, June 16 (HS). Bhagalpur City SP Raj said during a press conference on Sunday that the police have arrested 03 accused within 24 hours in the murder case under Nathnagar police station of the district.
City SP said that on June 15, the body of Neeraj Kumar Chaudhary, a resident of Lalmatia police station area, was found near Jakhbaba Dam under Nathnagar police station. A case was registered in Nathnagar police station in this regard. A team was formed under the leadership of Superintendent of Police City's surveillance and Deputy Superintendent of Police City 02 to arrest the accused. The said team duly arrested 03 accused of this case and raids are going on to arrest the remaining 01 accused.
The City SP said the reason for the incident was a land dispute of Rs 8 lakh. The arrested criminals include Suraj Kumar, Vikas Chaudhary and Dilip Chaudhary.
