Saharsa, June 13 (HS). A one-day training program was organized in the District School Sabha Bhawan in Kahra block on Thursday to prevent anemia under the Anemia Mukt Bharat Yojana. The headmasters of all the schools of the block were given a one-day training by Piramal Foundation and BHM of the Health Department.
In this regard, Piramal Foundation's team leader Alok Kumar said that after reviewing the Anemia Mukt Bharat program by the DM on May 14, it was instructed that all the headmasters and nodal teachers should be retrained and as per the guidelines, pink tablets should be given to students of 5 to 9 years and blue tablets should be given to students of 10 to 19 years by the teachers as supplements after meals every Wednesday. Thereafter, their report should be collected by the BRC by the 5th of every month and sent to the Community Health Center.
BRC's BPM Alok Kumar, BHM Omprakash Kumar, Piramal's program leader Alok Kumar and teachers were present in this meeting.
