Varanasi, June 13 (HS). In an accident near Ring Road Parampur Underpass Phase-2 in Jansa police station area, a high speed container hit a truck. Both the container driver and the cleaner were seriously injured in the accident. On receiving the information on Thursday, the police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. Where the doctors declared the driver dead. After informing the family of the deceased driver about the incident, the police sent the body for post-mortem.
Irfan (26), a resident of Saifni Rampur, along with helper Salman, was going to Kashi, Uttarakhand from Ranchi, Jharkhand, in a container loaded with goods. In the morning, when he reached near the Parampur underpass on Ring Road Phase-2 with the container, he suddenly lost control of the vehicle. The container went out of control and collided with a truck going ahead. The front part of the container was damaged in the accident. Irfan and Salman got seriously injured after getting trapped in it. People present nearby informed the police about the accident. The police took the injured out of the cabin of the damaged vehicle and sent them to the hospital. Where Irfan died.
