Purnia, June 13 (HS). Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has got bail from the court in the extortion case. Pappu Yadav reached Purnia Civil Court on Thursday with his lawyer, where the court granted him bail in the extortion case.
Coming out of the court, Pappu Yadav thanked the judge and said that I have been so hurt that I have never felt this way at the age of 57. I have never faced so much mental torture. A case was filed against me with the connivance of the police station in-charge on the application of a person whom I have never met till date. All this has been done on the orders of senior officers. Many sections were imposed on me without any reason. Section 385 was forcibly imposed in the CGM court, which means, I met, threatened face to face and demanded verbally. This is absolutely wrong.
Pappu Yadav said that the call details of the police station in-charge should be taken out and that of the man should also be taken out and it should be seen when and where he talked to whom. The whole matter will come out and it will be known who is behind this conspiracy.
Purnea's furniture businessman Raja Bhagat had filed a case against Pappu Yadav for demanding extortion. This case became a topic of discussion in the society, district and the world of politics as well.
