Academic agreement signed between Sampurnanand Sanskrit University and Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University

Varanasi, June 10 (HS). An academic agreement was signed on Monday between Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi and Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University (KKSU), Ramtek, Nagpur (Maharashtra). An MoU was signed for three years by signing the academic agreement. Vice Chancellors of both the universities, Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma and Prof. Hareram Tripathi, while signing the academic agreement, said that KKSU is an institution dedicated to advanced education of Sanskrit, which is the first Sanskrit University of Maharashtra. Along with providing regular course work in the university, KKSU is unique in nature which focuses on a modern approach to the Sanskrit language. Apart from preserving traditional Sanskrit, it emphasizes on the study of science and technology in ancient India. According to Vice Chancellor Prof. Tripathi, by connecting Vedic knowledge and science, an easy way to reach a new exploration will be found.

The MoU between KKSU and Sampurnanand Sanskrit University aims to develop training programmes, student and faculty exchange programmes, skill development programmes, mutually conducting short-term courses, studying and editing manuscripts, translation work, joint research, site visits and all such programmes. The aim of this collaboration is to fulfil the goals and objectives of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP- 2020) and to meet the rapidly growing educational need by leveraging mutual capabilities and to meet the rapidly growing educational need by leveraging mutual capabilities. Apart from this, exchange of information on other sources related to research and its allied subjects through meetings and discussions and direct contribution through projects. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sharma said that both the institutions will join hands to organize workshops, seminars, symposia and to innovate by joining with various subject experts, various types of conferences will be shared. This agreement will remain in force for three years, time/agreement can be extended by taking initiative for further joining. Any party can terminate this MoU by giving written notice to the other party six months in advance.
