Lucknow, June 09 (HS). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has condemned the cowardly attack on the bus of devotees returning from Shivkhodi Darshan in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from Yogi, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak and Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav have also given their reactions.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath posted on Twitter on Sunday midnight that the cowardly attack on a bus of pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir is extremely sad. My humble tribute to the departed souls! My condolences are with the bereaved families. I pray to Lord Shri Ram to give a place to the departed souls in his lotus feet and speedy recovery to all the injured.
Apart from this, instructions have been given to the Additional Chief Secretary Home and Director General of Police of Uttar Pradesh to immediately contact the local administration and ensure proper treatment and safety of the injured in the state.
Apart from this, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that the unfortunate incident of cowardly terrorist attack on the bus of pilgrims of Shivkhodi temple in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir is extremely sad and condemnable. I have deep condolences for the families of those who died untimely. I pray to God to give speedy recovery to the injured and give place to the noble souls in his lotus feet and provide strength to the bereaved family members.
At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the attack by terrorists on a bus full of devotees going to Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir is extremely cowardly and condemnable. I pray to God to provide speedy recovery to the injured in the accident and give a place to the departed souls in his lotus feet.
Giving his reaction, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav said that on a politically sensitive day in the country, the news of 10 people being killed in a terrorist attack due to the negligence of security management is sad and highly condemnable.
Most of the dead are from Uttar Pradesh and many people are also injured due to the bus falling into the ditch. The government should wake up to send the bodies of the dead to their relatives and provide the best possible treatment to the injured and give proper compensation to all the casualties.
It is noteworthy that suspected terrorists attacked a bus full of devotees returning after visiting the Shivkhodi cave shrine in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Ten people are reported dead and many are injured. The injured are being treated in different hospitals.
