Lucknow, 05 June (HS). All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) spokesperson Asim Waqar has hit back at Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati's statement on giving tickets to Muslim candidates. Asim Waqar said that Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati's comment on Muslim candidates is wrong. I say that Mayawati has not given tickets to Muslim candidates, but has sold the tickets. Mayawati should not show gratitude for this.
AIMIM spokesperson Asim Waqar said that Mayawati has said that if Muslim candidates do not get votes in the Lok Sabha elections, then she will consider giving them tickets in future. Mayawati has said that she will think before giving tickets to Muslim candidates in future. On this, I say that Muslim candidates bought tickets from Mayawati, and the public tells such people the consequences in the elections.
While appealing to the Muslim community, Asim Waqar said that I want to tell the Muslim leaders to take their daily medicines. Muslim leaders should never go to get a ticket from Bahujan Samaj Party. They should not be a part of Mayawati's horse-trading. I have a request for Mayawati that she should not show favour to the Muslims. And I also request the Muslim leaders that they should not go there to buy tickets.
