Saharsa, 05 June (HS). On 1 June, a constable's wife was mysteriously murdered in the police line of Sadar police station area. This was a challenging incident for the police. Two people including the brother-in-law have been arrested in this incident.
On reaching the spot, the Superintendent of Police immediately ordered a separate team to investigate. Superintendent of Police Himanshu Kumar held a press conference on Wednesday and disclosed the case. He said that constable Milan Kumar hatched a well-planned conspiracy and got his wife killed by his brother.
He told that on the morning of June 1, constable-286 Milan Kumar of the district force, who lives in the government residence of the police station, had gone to Kaimur district for election duty during that period. On the same day in the morning, after constable Milan Kumar made several calls to his wife through mobile, when his wife did not receive the call, he asked some acquaintances living in his neighborhood to call on mobile and let him talk to his wife and the acquaintance told constable Milan Kumar that his wife was not opening the door.
After informing the senior officer, the door of the house of constable Milan Kumar who had gone for election duty was opened and the constable's wife was found dead. On receiving the information, the Superintendent of Police, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Sadar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters-01 and 02, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Reserve, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Cyber and other police officers and personnel reached the spot and inspected the spot.
