By contesting the elections with SP, Congress has also got a new lease of life in UP. Congress has benefited greatly.

In this Lok Sabha election, the pair of these two princes did such a great job in UP that Congress has succeeded in winning six seats including its strongholds of Amethi and Rae Bareli. On the other hand, SP has gained lead in about 37 seats including its strongholds of perfume city Kannauj, Azamgarh, Mainpuri. In UP, the opposition alliance in the BJP camp has made inroads in more than half of the 80 seats. In the NDA alliance, RLD has won two seats and Apna Dal (S) has won one seat. Bhim Army has surprised everyone by winning one seat. In this way, BJP is seen getting 33 seats. Due to the Election Commission not declaring the results of many seats, there is a possibility of change in the figures on one or two seats.

Muslims voted unitedly for SP

In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Muslims did not vote for BJP despite taking advantage of all the schemes of the Center, issues like Hindutva and triple talaq. They have voted unitedly in favor of SP. It is believed that this is also an important reason for the lead gained by SP. BJP has suffered due to this.
