Kishanganj, 04 June (HS). Congress candidate Dr. Javed Azad is moving towards victory in the parliamentary constituency. He is leading by 57195 votes. Congress candidate Dr. Javed Azad has got 3,75,270 votes. On the other hand, Mujahid Alam from JDU is at second place with 3,18,075 votes. Akhtarul Iman from AIMIM has got 2,89,861 votes so far. The seat here is the hottest seat of Seemanchal.
Congress workers celebrated outside the counting centre. They were seen congratulating each other for the victory. Congress had fielded MP Dr. Mohammad Javed again as the candidate from the INDIA alliance from Kishanganj Lok Sabha constituency. JDU has given ticket to former Kochadhaman MLA Mujahid Alam as NDA candidate. AIMIM Bihar State President Akhtarul Iman himself is in the fray in this constituency. The voting percentage on 26 April was 64.46%.
