Heritage City Titans defeated Ahmedabad Arrows by six wickets to win the first season of the Cricket Premier League (CPL). In reply to Arrows' 126 runs in 16.3 overs, Heritage City scored 130 runs for four wickets to win the final. A total of 5708 runs, two centuries and 30 half-centuries were recorded in 18 matches in the first season. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah presented the Champions Trophy and a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to Heritage City Titans captain Urvil Patel and team owner Malhar Shah. Ahmedabad Arrows captain Arya Desai and owner Dhruv Trivedi were given the runners-up trophy and a cheque of Rs 2.5 lakh. MP Narhari Amin Smit Patel was awarded the Orange Cap and Rs 25,000, Dhrushant Soni was awarded the Purple Cap and Rs 25,000 and Urvil Patel was awarded the Green Cap and Rs 25,000.
