A 23-year-old Indian student who was missing for the past one week in the US state of California has been found missing. Although the police have been informed about this, there has been no result despite the police investigation, finally the police have also sought help from the public to find the student. Such incidents have been happening with Indian students in America for a long time. According to the police, Nitisha Kandula, a student of California State University, San Bernardino, went missing on May 28. Therefore, the investigating agency posted on the social media platform 'X' that Nitisha was last seen in Los Angeles and on May 30, Police Chief John Gutierrez was informed about her disappearance.
Police said, “If anyone has information about missing student Nitisha Kandula, they are asked to do so to California State University, San Bernardino Police and our partner Los Angeles Police Department. Police have also described the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Nishita Kandula. Student helpline numbers have been announced for anyone who has information about this.
Trouble for Indian students in America!
Last month, 26-year-old Indian student Rupesh Chandra was reported missing from Chicago. Earlier, 25-year-old Indian student Mohammed Abdul Arafat, who was missing since March, was found dead in Cleveland, USA. Arafat, a native of Hyderabad, came to the US in May last year to pursue a master's degree in IT from Cleveland University. In March, 34-year-old trained classical dancer Amarnath Ghosh was shot dead in St Louis, Missouri. On February 2, 41-year-old Vivek Taneja was fatally attacked outside a restaurant in Washington.
