Ramesh Chandra Tiwari, a 75-year-old resident of the district, has been suffering from cancer for 12 years. But he reached booth number 113 to vote along with his family and villagers. The old man exercised his right to vote by standing in the queue even in this heat. He reached the booth on foot in the scorching sun.
The old man boosted the morale of the people and appealed to them to reach the booth in large numbers and cast their vote.
