Moradabad, May 29 (HS). Aditya Gupta, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Moradabad Railway Division, Northern Railway, said on Wednesday that Moradabad Division is constantly monitoring and providing assistance and facilities for the convenience of passengers during the summer season.
Senior DCM said that the main focus here is on providing cleanliness to passengers in the station premises, providing cold water management facilities in the station premises, providing water through water taps continuously in the station premises and trains, ensuring the sale of proper and prescribed food items at the food stalls and trolleys through periodic inspection and providing correct information to passengers through the support centre.
Along with this, arrangements for additional counters are made at unreserved ticket counters and reserved ticket counters when the number of passengers increases. Assistance to passengers by ticket checking staff on trains and stations, vigilance by Railway Security Force to help passengers. Action against illegal vendors, surprise inspection of trains and station premises by officials from time to time, curbing unreserved and unauthorized passengers by ticket checking staff in station premises and trains through ticket checking campaigns, etc. are prominently included.
