Ballia, May 29 (HS). In the election rally held on Wednesday in support of BJP candidate Neeraj Shekhar from Ballia Lok Sabha, Home Minister Amit Shah gave special importance to former minister Narad Rai who left SP. The reason behind Narad Rai's inclusion in BJP is considered to be his good hold on Bhumihar voters not only in Ballia but also in many Lok Sabha seats of Purvanchal.
Former minister Narad Rai, who said goodbye to SP two days ago, reached the meeting of Home Minister Amit Shah today with thousands of his supporters. After the speech of Home Minister Amit Shah, Narad Rai was brought on the stage to be inducted into BJP, and Home Minister Amit Shah smiled on seeing him. He first called Narad Rai close to him. He formally inducted him into BJP by making him wear a saffron sash. Seeing this, the entire pandal echoed with slogans of Narad Rai and Amit Shah Zindabad.
Realising the importance of Narad Rai, BJP candidate Neeraj Shekhar and Sadar MLA Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh hugged him warmly. It is believed that with the arrival of Narad Rai, polarisation of Bhumihar votes will happen rapidly in favour of BJP in Ghazipur, Ghosi, Chandauli and Varanasi as well as Ballia. Because the number of Bhumihar voters is quite good in all these seats. In Ballia, there are about nine per cent Bhumihar voters who have the ability to change any equation.
