Jaunpur, May 28 (HS). In Prempur village of Gaurabadshahpur police station area, miscreants attacked the members of a family with sticks and injured 5 people in protest against the preparation of cement sand mortar on the CC road.
Suresh Kumar is building construction work going on at his place in Prempur village of the police station area by making cement sand mixture on the CC road. On Tuesday Gaurav Kumar was going from the village to Banarhiya Bagh market on his bike. During this, his bike slipped and fell in the cement sand mixture. After falling from the bike, Gaurav Kumar protested to Suresh for making sand cement mixture on the CC road, due to which a clash broke out between the two sides.
After the fight, Suresh Kumar's family members Sandeep, Rajkumar, Arvind, all four of them attacked Gaurav Kumar with sticks. Gaurav's father Khetau (52 years), Shanti Devi (50 years), Narmada (22 years) and Sudhir Kumar (27 years) who came to intervene were also chased and beaten with sticks. As a result of the incident, Khetau's head got fractured. Shanti Devi's hand got fractured. Narmada and Sudhir also got head injuries. On receiving information about the fight, police reached the spot. Police sent all the injured to the district hospital for first aid.
When asked about this matter, SHO Brijesh Gupta said that the complaint has been received. All the injured have been sent for medical examination. A case has been registered against 4 people.
