Hamirpur, May 28 (HS). The court on Tuesday convicted the accused husband in the case of murder of his wife by attacking her with an axe after a late night dinner dispute. The court of Additional Sessions Judge First PK Jayant has sentenced the guilty husband to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of 10 thousand rupees. If the fine is not paid, he will have to undergo an additional sentence of six months.
The plaintiff Latti Ahirwar, a resident of Chandaut village of Jaria police station area, had given a complaint to the police, that his elder brother, the accused Pannalal, lives with his wife Pan Kunwar in the house next to his. The brother has two sons and two daughters. Both the sons work outside at brick kilns with their respective families. While both the daughters are in their in-laws' house. Told that his elder brother and sister-in-law used to argue with each other earlier. Both used to cook their food separately. A few days ago, son-in-law Rakesh had made both the people reconcile. Told that after dinner on the night of January 31, 2022, both of them again had a dispute. On which his brother attacked his wife with an axe and killed her. In the case, the police registered a case of murder and presented the charge sheet in the court. Hearing which, the court considered the murder case as a case of unintentional murder and sentenced the guilty husband to 10 years of imprisonment.
