Ashoknagar, May 28 (HS). Due to the scorching heat, the water crisis in the city is not reducing, women and children are seen to be worried for water. When the people troubled by the water crisis were not heard in the municipality, on Tuesday the women of ward number 07 of the city reached the MLA office and demanded a solution to the water crisis from MLA Haribabu Rai. After listening to the women, the MLA immediately called the municipality.
In this regard, Haribabu Rai said that the list of tanker water supply was summoned from the municipal engineer and water supplier contractor Balram Agarwal. He said that water should be supplied by identifying places in the wards, so that no one faces any problem and can get water. He clearly said that there should be no complaint regarding water crisis otherwise he will sit on a dharna in the municipal premises.
There was a jam a day before
Due to the scorching heat, women and children who were worried for every drop of water had blocked Kolua Road with their utensils a day earlier. Here too, no responsible person from the municipality came to solve the problem and the matter could be settled only with the intervention of the police. Even after that, no solution to the problem was found by the municipal administration and now the women had to approach the MLA.
