Auraiya, May 27 (HS). On Monday, on the Dibiyapur road of the district, an ambulance hit a mother and her two-year-old innocent child while they were crossing the road after buying medicine. Both were taken to CHC Dibiyapur in critical condition, where the child died during treatment. The police have taken the ambulance into custody and started action.
Salim, originally from Bidhuna, lives in a rented house in Jamuhi with his wife and children. Today his wife had gone to Chicholi to get medicine for her two-year-old child Saif. The mother was returning with the medicine, carrying the son in her lap. She got off the auto near Gumani Purva Mod Janta Inter College Chandra Nagar Sehud and started crossing the road to the other side. Meanwhile, the driver of the 102 ambulance coming from the front hit the mother and child hard. As soon as the collision took place, the child slipped from the mother's hands and fell on the road and the ambulance ran over him. The police reached the spot and admitted both of them in critical condition to CHC Dibiyapur. The child died during treatment. The woman is undergoing treatment.
In this regard, CO Auraiya MP Singh said that the ambulance has been taken into custody and the child's body has been sent for postmortem. Peace and order is maintained at the spot. Further action is being taken in the accident.
