Professor Dr. Anupam Pandey of Geography Department became Dean-Academic Program

Prayagraj, May 27 (HS). Professor Dr. Anupam Pandey of the Department of Geography, Allahabad University has been appointed as the Dean Academic Program of the University. He has been given other responsibilities including preparing new courses of the university in accordance with the new education policy.

Public Relations Officer of IVSU Prof. Jaya Kapoor said that after the approval of Vice Chancellor Prof. Sangeeta Srivastava, orders have been issued in this regard by the Registrar. Prof. Anupam Pandey will work for the creation of curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate courses of the university, conducting new courses and smooth functioning of academic activities in the university. Along with this, he will also prepare the mandatory framework for research courses. The university is moving towards implementing the new education policy, in such a situation, Prof. Pandey will be responsible for preparing new courses of the university in accordance with the new education policy.

The PRO said that Prof. Pandey has already held many important positions in the university. He has also been in charge of the admission building and has also worked as the director of the teacher recruitment cell. Prof. Pandey has also held the post of head of the Geography department. Prof. Pandey has also been a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in the past and is currently handling the responsibility of the warden of AN Jha hostel.
