Teachers have also said that no student should go out of the house between 9 am and 5 pm. If necessary, cover the head with a cloth. Keep drinking water frequently. Avoid eating fried or market-bought food items. Do not go to bathe in the village pond or big canal, as drowning incidents are highest in summer. Travel long distances in traffic by bus or car.
Government and private schools will remain closed till May 31
Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya directed to extend the holidays for students from KG to 12th class till May 31. Earlier, holidays were declared till May 24 for students up to class 8th.
In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner directed the District Education Officer and District Elementary Education Officer to ensure holidays in government, semi-government and private schools from kindergarten to Class 12 in the district.
If any school is found open, the department will keep an eye on it. During the holiday period, teachers, non-teaching officers and employees will be present in the school as before. Schools are closed since the administration had earlier declared the holiday.
