Jaunpur, May 25 (HS). Voting is being held on Saturday in the sixth phase for two Lok Sabha seats of the district. BJP candidate from Lok Sabha Jaunpur, Kripashankar Singh, first visited Sheetla Mata Chowkiya Dham. After this, he cast his vote at 8 am in booth number 9 of Composite School Sahodarpur in Sahodarpur of his village Baksha development area.
BJP candidate Kripashankar Singh's wife Malti Singh exercised her franchise along with son Sanjay Singh and daughter Sunita Singh. While coming out after voting, she told reporters that BJP is winning all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Narendra Modi will once again become the Prime Minister of the country.
It is noteworthy that 14 candidates are in the fray from Jaunpur Lok Sabha seat and 12 from Machhlishahr Lok Sabha seat. Voting for these Lok Sabha seats, which began on Saturday morning, will continue till 6 pm. After voting, the polling personnel will again deposit the EVMs in the strong room. Tight security arrangements have been made outside the strong room.
